Moran homecoming set Oct. 4-5

The 2019 Moran Homecoming will be held on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4-5. A pep rally is planned downtown on Friday. 

That evening, the Moran Bulldogs junior high and high school teams are scheduled to host Chillicothe at Bulldog Stadium. 

Activities on Saturday will include a morning open house at the Moran Historical Museum, a morning volleyball game between the Lady Bulldogs and Woodson Cowgirls at the school gym, sandwich lunch in the school cafe-teria, and the traditional homecoming assembly and program in the high school auditorium. 

A street dance downtown Saturday night will feature 2Country4Nashville (2country4nashville.com), a traditional country music duo from Tennessee.

Homecoming newsletters have been mailed out. There are likely addresses that have changed since the 2017 Homecoming (some individuals may have since passed away) that the Association is unaware of. 

“If your address has changed, or if you know of someone who is not on the mailing list and who would like to be, e-mail the information to moran homecoming@gmail.com or call 325-945-2199,” said Association officer Duston Brooks. “If there is no answer, leave a message.”  

“The Association welcomes suggestions to make this year’s homecoming a memorable and successful one for the exes and guests.” said Brooks. “Please make plans to attend.”
