Moran homecoming set Friday

Moran High School’s 2018 homecoming king and queen will be crowned during halftime activities of the Bulldogs’ game with Sidney at Bulldog Stadium Friday night, Sept. 14. 

King nominees are Jesse Hawley, K.J. Henderson, Kobee Lapp, Curry Pendleton, and Ethan Smith. Queen contestants are Emma Hensley, Destiny Laurents, Kaylin New, Khloe New, Summer Pederson, and Hannah Whitehead.

Football sweetheart and cheer beau will both be announced at the game.

Other members of the court include freshman page Braden Crow and lady in waiting Reshaely Schafer, sophomore duke Corbin Roberts and dutchess Baylee Orsak, junior prince Jonas Cadena and princess November Meredith, and FFA beau Curry Pendleton and sweetheart Johnnie Hise.

A pep rally will be held at the football field at 2:45 p.m. Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. 

The Moran game was selected as the OX game of the week and will be broadcast by Comanche radio station KYOX-FM 94.3.
