Kids Club Activities at First United Methodist Church are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The Kids Club is designed for fourth through seventh graders, and offers them fun activities, snacks, and the opportunity to learn the Word.

The church van is used to transport participating children from the elementary school to the church each Wednesday afternoon in time for the 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. program.

“They will let us know if the bus needs to go by the junior high and pick up students there,” said church secretary Margaret Butler.

The Methodist Church has fellowship opportunities for high school youth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, and for adults, including a Wednesday night adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., and the Life Recovery Group on Mondays at 7:00 p.m.

“Of course we always have the Methodist men’s prayer group at 6:00 a.m. and men’s Bible study at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesdays,” said Butler.

Members of the church also help lead a jail ministry that meets with prisoners at the local law enforcement center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
