MERGE sessions get underway

MERGE high school youth group met at The Feed Store on Monday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

“Spencer Newsom and Kathryn Hamilton are doing both the junior high and high school groups this year,” said Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins. “The junior high students will have their first meeting next week.”

Due to conflicts with after school activities, both junior high and high school youth groups will take place on Monday nights.

The seventh and eighth grades will attend from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, and the high school students are scheduled from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. later the same evenings.

“Other activities will take place, but they are not scheduled at this time,” said Wilkins.

MERGE is a non-denominational group open to all local youth.
