Kids tennis club to meet

Albany Kids Tennis Club will be holding practices at 4:30 p.m. on each of the remaining three Mondays of this month, Sept. 16, 23, and 30.

Children age six to 18 are welcome to come for a suggested donation of $15 total, or participation is free to those who are members of the Abilene Fall Junior Team Tennis League.

“Please let me know if your kids will be able to make it,” said organizer Lisa Russell. “We will practice for approximately one hour, and parents are always welcome to join us.”

An additional clinic with an Abilene tennis pro will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, and is expected to cost $15-20 per child.
