The Albany United Methodist Church has announced its upcoming Ash Wednesday service.

First Methodist pastor Tim Trimble said the service will be delivered via livestream from Seedbed.com and is entitled A Night with New Room, Ash Wednesday

“This service will be available face to face or can be streamed at home with Zoom,” said Trimble. “All of the service will be led by Seedbed, but there will be a time set aside for the church to impose the ashes in person.”

Registration is free and includes the livestream event link, complimentary recordings of the evening, and additional resources to be sent after the event.

Guest speakers include Kevin Queen, pastor of Cross Point, Matt Maher, worship leader and songwriter, Rica McRoy, author, Wildfire, Lo Alaman, poet and author, We Sang A Dirge, J.D. Walt, Sower-in-Chief at Seedbed and author, The Seedbed Daily Text, and David Thomas, New Room Senior Advisor.

The service is open to anyone in the community and can be joined from the church, home, car, or any other location.
