The Albany Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring a free community concert by the band Dawson Hollow,  starting at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 at the Bank Park.

Free hot dogs will be served during the event.

Albany Ministerial Alliance president Jeff Turner said he was contacted recently to see if the local community would be interested in a concert.

“I have a ministry friend who contacted me to see if we wanted one of the bands he works with to perform here” said Turner. “We decided it could be a good thing for our community.”

Turner said the band is billed as performing Indie Folk Rock and their performance will be a “grassroots concert,” lasting about an hour.

Seating will not be provided so those who attend will need to bring their own lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
