Community Vacation Bible School 2020 will begin Sunday, July 26 and continue through Wednesday, July 29 at First Baptist Church Albany.

“Concrete and Cranes” will begin Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with dinner in the fellowship hall. Activities start at 5:30 p.m.

Hours for Monday and Tuesday nights are 5:30 to 8:15 p.m.

“Family Night” will be held Wednesday at the city pool, starting with a program at 6:00 p.m.

VBS codirector Ginger Bumguardner said the last night will be an opportunity for families to watch the children perform songs they learned during VBS.

“Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on,” Bumguardner said.

A hot dog and nacho supper will be provided, with swimming until 9:00 p.m.

VBS will be broken into smaller groups this year with more classes to rotate between.

Children turning four by Sept. 1 through students who have completed sixth grade are invited.

Children who need transportation should call Carolyn Waller at the FBC office, 325-762-2019.

Parents can call Bumguardner at 325-660-5420 or Betsy Spraberry at 325-660-1516 with questions.
