Albany News

The Albany wildlife team of Brodey Jones, Bryan Jones, Ryder Wilkins, Tyler Beard, Brady Karl, and Kasey Cauble brought back awards from the Anson Invitational CDEs Thursday, March 7.

The team also participated in an invitational contest in Cisco this week and will take part in the Rolling Plains Wildlife contest and the Weatherford College CDEs next week.

“This was a great first contest for these kids,” said FFA advisor Chris Beard. “Spring is a busy time with lots of things going on, and I appreciate the time these kids are putting into studying for these contests.”

The invitational meets help students prepare for the District 5 and Area IV wildlife contests which will take place on Monday, April 8 at the Jaegar Ranch, located a few miles north of Eastland.
