3rd Thursday set next week

October’s Third Thursday Studio will continue its fall schedule next Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Old Jail Art Center.

Participants can spend a couple of hours creating a clay “milagro” or wall pocket.

The event will be held in the Stasney Center from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“This month, bring a friend and your favorite bottle of wine and create a personalized ceramic wall pocket with Milagro imagery or your own monogram,” said education program coordinator Molly Merck. “Explore clay-slab and glazing techniques and create an optional fall floral spray for display in your wall pocket.”

Those who register can bring their favorite bottle of wine or beverage, enjoy some time with friends and neighbors, and leave with a one-of-a-kind creation.

Registration is $15 for OJAC members or $20 for non-members, with all materials provided.
