Over 100 boys and girls started playing games in the Albany NFL Flag Football league this week.

“Sixth graders have two teams and play NFL Flag Football against each other on Tuesdays,” said league organizer Anthony Ceder. “Coaches are Campbell Terry and Matt Birkla.”

The other three age divisions have four teams each.

Dan Key and Jacey Shack coach the  kindergarten and first grade Rams. The 49ers are led by Spencer Balliew and Lacey Anderson. Morgan Smith and Lee Burton are in charge of the Redskins, and the Bills are guided by Francisco Salazar and Holland Smith.

The second-third grade Raiders are coached by Tony Wheeler, Patriots by Shawn Sutton, Seahawks by Sedrick Roberson, and Browns by Anthony Ceder and Gary Vickers.

In the fourth and fifth grade division, the Chiefs are coached by Spencer Newsom, Saints by Chris Edgar, Cardinals by Kevin Billingsly, and Cowboys by Clayton Oliver.
