Artists announced for 2022 CareFest

Six acts will take the stage for 10 hours of entertainment this August at the fourth annual CareFest.

The festival is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27, at Happy Wife Happy Life Weddings and Events Venue.

This year’s acts include Read Southall Band, Giovannie and the Hired Guns, and special guest Kevin Fowler. Up-and-coming artists on the bill include Slade Coulter and Jacob Stelly. Albany’s Braden Davis will open.

CareFest is an annual fundraiser for Resource Care’s outreach programs benefitting patients in six communities around the Big Country. All proceeds serve the communities through programs such as Vittles by Vehicle, ASPIRE after-school program, summer day camp, Senior Citizen Day, Christmas for Teens, Toys for Tots, Christmas for Senior Citizens, back-to-school supplies, and an emergency assistance program.
