Closet Angels to close in Dec.

Closet Angels will be open one more week before closing until Jan. 6, according to Lori Reames, director. “We will open Monday, Dec. 16 for local and Breckenridge customers, then close till Jan. 6,” she said.

Chest seeks donations

The Albany Chest is accepting donations toward its fundraising goal of $48,000 for the 2024 campaign. As of Tuesday, Dec.

150 celebration books now available

has been steadily distributed to those who pre-ordered copies, with additional books available for purchase at the Albany Chamber of Commerce. The book commemorates Shackelford County’s 150th anniversary, featuring contributions from local residents, new historical updates, and the complete contents of the 1976 Now & Then publication.
