Cubs split games against Merkel

The Albany Junior High Cubs played their first official home games of the season Thursday, Sept. 19 against Merkel with the seventh grade losing and the eighth winning.

Patsy Cline ends 4-performance run

The final two performances of “Always...Patsy Cline”wrappedupSunday at the Aztec Theater, with the Albany Mainstreet Playhouse reporting over 800 tickets sold over the four-show run. “It was a wonderful run for the show,” said AMP director and vocal star of the show Lorna Ayers.

5th quarter planned Friday
