The Albany NFL Flag Football League began its season Monday, Sept. 23 with 117 players on 14 teams in three age groups.

The Albany Junior High Cubs played their first official home games of the season Thursday, Sept. 19 against Merkel with the seventh grade losing and the eighth winning.

It took the Lions a little while to get things going their way Friday, Sept. 20 in their fourth football game of the season, but once they did, things went their way in a big way.
