TheShackelfordCounty Home School Co-Op has launched its first annual pre-Thanksgiving pie fundraiser, “A Slice of Life fundraiser” with a goal of helping raise funds for the Shackelford County EMS.

Lady Lions lose to defending champs

The Albany Lady Lions saw their volleyball season end disappointingly early last week with a loss in the second round of the Class 2A playoffs. Albany finished the season 30-8 behind a senior-laden lineup.

The Albany Athletic Booster Club got the football playoffs started Wednesday,Nov.8withthe first downtown pep rally at Bank Park. The Albany Lions take thefirststepinthepostseason at 7:00 p.m.
