15+ garage sales set this weekend

The Albany Chamber of Commerce annual city-wide garage sale will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Chamber manager Mary Beth Jones said there were 16 sales registered by the end of the day on Tuesday, Sept. 8, the deadline. 

Jones reminds participants that sale signs do not need to be returned this year.

Free maps will be printed and available the day of the sale.

Jones will open the Chamber office from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 12 to hand out maps.

“After 10:00 a.m., maps will be left at the door for shoppers to pick up,” Jones said. “The office will not open before 7:00 a.m., so no early bird shoppers.”
