Health Fair set Friday at Bank Park

May event for 20th year

The 20 thannual Spring Health Fair sponsored by Shackel ford County Resource Care is set for Friday (tomorrow) at the Bank Park.

Booths from about 15 area agencies will be set up to provide fun for local youngsters while also handing out information about the services and support available to local residents.

“Everyone is welcome to attend, both kids and adults,” said project coordinator for Resource Care, MindyAry. “This is open to everyone in the community and the county.”

Any group or vendor interested in setting up at the event can contact Ary at 325-762-2447 or email at mindyary@resourcecare. org. Elementary students will be bussed to the event from Nancy Smith Elementary, and several Albany High students will again provide volunteer assistance for the younger students.

Moran students will not be attending as a group this year since they do not have classes on Fridays.

There will be games and prizes available, along with free snow cones and information about health care.
