The Membership Sampler for the 2024 edition of the Fort Griffin Fandangle is just over a week away, set this year for Saturday, April 20 at Collins Creek Ranch near Fort Griffin.

Practices are set for Thursday (today) and next Tuesday at the Prairie Theater starting at 6:30 p.m., then moving to Collins Creek for 7:00 p.m. practices on Thursday and Friday, April 18 and 19. The practice on Friday will be a dress rehearsal.

“Rehearsals are going great,” artistic director Lorna Ayers said. “We just need everyone to show up for these final few practices so we can put it all together and polish it.”

Ayers asked all cast and crew members for the Sampler and the summer shows to sign up for the Remind app again this year even if they were part of it in the past.

She explained that the Fandangle had to set up a new account this year, which means everyone must sign up again to get the text reminders about rehearsals or any changes to the schedule.

Anyone wanting to join in order to receive information and reminders about rehearsals can text 81010 withthemessage@fandang included. If successfully sent, the new member will receive a confirmation text.

“The cast can also go to the new website to the cast page to see the summer rehearsal schedule and register any children online,” she said. “This includes high school ages too.”

Information for the cast can be found on the Fandangle’s new website www.fortgriffinfandangle. com.Castmembersneedto scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the word “cast,” which is in green type.
